Edinburgh's number one hotel restaurant
Number one restaurant at The Balmoral is delighted to announce that it has retained its prestigious Michelin star, securing its position as the only hotel restaurant in Edinburgh to hold a Michelin star.
Over the past 12 months Jeff Bland, Executive Chef at The Balmoral, and his number one team have gone from strength to strength, seeing business increase by a phenomenal 15 per cent, whilst maintaining the highest levels of culinary excellence.
Michelin released its list of stars today, ahead of tomorrow's launch (20 January) of the Michelin Guide Great Britain & Ireland 2006. The annual guide is known as the reference for business and leisure travellers, based on the high standards which are rigorously checked by Michelin's team of professional inspectors.
