The Balmoral launches Scotland's first Bollinger Bar
The Balmoral, in association with Bollinger, is delighted to be providing Edinburgh and Scotland with the ultimate venue for drinking Champagne whether for an after work meeting or a sophisticated evening out.
Palm Court, already world famous for its Afternoon Tea and popular with local residents for evening cocktails, now offers guests a sample of the finer things in life, a chilled glass of Bollinger Champagne underneath its sparkling glass dome. On selected evenings, guests can enjoy our resident pianist tinkling on the ivories of Palm Court's much-loved baby grand.
Champagne Bollinger is one of the greatest Champagne houses, committed to creating distinctive Champagnes of the finest quality, making them an ideal partner for The Balmoral. Champagne Bollinger remains under the direct control of the family, as it has done since Bollinger's foundation in 1829.
The Balmoral will offer a range of Bollinger Champagnes including Special Cuvée, La Grand Année 1997 and R.D 1995.
Commenting on this exciting launch, Debbie Taylor, General Manager at The Balmoral said 'I am delighted to be working with a luxury brand like Bollinger to create a chic and sophisticated venue for all guests to enjoy. At The Balmoral, we pride ourselves on exceeding guests' expectations and delivering what the customer wants, which is why we have created The Bollinger Bar at Palm Court'.
Simon Leshallas, Director of Bollinger, added 'Bollinger and The Balmoral are unique and both guarantee an unrivalled experience and level of quality. It is for this reason that they make perfect partners for Scotland's first Bollinger bar'.
The Bollinger Bar, opening 15th March 2005, will host an invitation only launch party in conjunction with Bollinger and 88 Events Company.
