The Balmoral's Number One retains Michelin Star

The Balmoral’s fine dining restaurant number one has retained its coveted Michelin star for the 9th successive year.

Specialising in modern Scottish cuisine, number one was first awarded Michelin star status in 2003.

Executive Chef Jeff Bland and Head Chef Craig Sandle are devoted to using the very best seasonal Scottish produce. Their combined passion and enthusiasm for innovation and creativity is reflected in their highly acclaimed dishes.

Head Chef Craig Sandle places emphasis on creative dishes whilst promoting the best of Scotland by using only the finest and freshest Scottish ingredients.

Commenting on the announcement, Executive Chef Jeff Bland said:
