Monday to Friday: 06.30 - 22.00
Saturday and Sunday: 07.00 - 22.00
To make an appointment, please call The Balmoral Spa on 0131 622 8880. Hotel guests can simply dial 742 from their rooms. An email address must be provided, in order to send your treatment confirmation. On receipt of this confirmation, please check that all the details are correct. Once all the details are confirmed, please return the email stating that all the information is in order. Treatments will not be finalised until the confirmation email is returned. Please book well in advance to avoid disappointment.
Waiting List:
If we are unable to accommodate your appointment, we will place you on our priority waiting list and contact you should any treatment times become available.
Cancellations:
Please allow 24 hours notice for cancellations to avoid a 50% charge. Cancellations within a 12 hour period will incur a 100% cancellation charge.
Medical Information:
Some of our treatments may not be suitable or may require some adjusting, should you have a medical condition or ailment. Please inform us accordingly at the time of booking if any of the following contra-indications apply:
- Allergies
- High Blood Pressure
- Skin Conditions
- Low Blood Pressure
- Pregnancy
- Varicose Veins
- Heart Conditions
- Recent Operations
- Epilepsy
- Scar Tissue
- Diabetes
- Medication
- Any other medical condition
Arrival at The Balmoral Spa:
We would recommend that you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your treatment. This will allow you time to register, change and unwind. A robe, slippers and towels will be provided during your visit. Please bring your own swimming attire, which must be worn in the Steam Room and Sauna. In order for all our clients to enjoy the relaxation of the spa we operate a no mobile phone policy within the relaxation areas.

Children:
Please not that we offer only a File & Polish for hands for children over the age of six. An adult must be present in the treatment room with the child whilst they have their treatment. Children (unless accompanied by an adult) must be over the age of 16 to use the swimming pool and gym. There is a £5 charge for non-resident children under ten to use the Spa and £10 for non-resident children aged ten and over. Please visit our Children section for more information.
