Tickets Tickets for a wide range of events including the Military Tattoo, Festival Shows, theatre and musicals, concerts and major sporting events can be sourced by the concierge.
Whisky We offer a range of experiences for guests looking to try our national drink including private distillery tours with a qualified whisky connoisseur, whisky tastings, access to the exclusive Malt Whisky Society and recommendations for whisky purchases.
Golf An extensive list of recommended golf courses can be provided upon request and we are happy to arrange tee times and transport reservations as required.
Babysitting The Balmoral offers a very reliable, experienced and trustworthy babysitting service. A minimum booking time of 3 hours is required.
Shopping After hours and personal shopping services are available upon request. Luxury retailers are located within a 5 minute walk of The Balmoral including Harvey Nichols, Louis Vuitton and Mulberry.
Edinburgh University Tours of this historical top-rated university, located just a short walk from The Balmoral, can be arranged by the concierge team.
Touring There are a number of options for touring around Scotland from The Balmoral including car rental touring companies and private guides. Please note that advance booking for private guides is essential.
Tartan Butler If your ties with Scotland extend beyond a passion for the country, then consider consulting our dedicated Tartan Butler, Andy Fraser. A senior member of The Balmoral’s concierge team, Andy has excellent connections with the city’s foremost experts and is ideally placed to guide guests through the process of discovering their Scottish ancestry, and its tartan.
Courier Service We can arrange for the shipment of any surplus luggage and are happy to take delivery of any larger items prior to arrival (such as golf clubs).
